Crissy is originally from Peoria, IL. She briefly went to middle school with Chuck for 1.5 years before moving overseas for 4.5 years. She attended the University of Illinois for both undergraduate studies and for veterinary school where she is now a senior veterinary student. She will graduate in May of 2004. |
Chuck is originally from Dunlap, IL. He attended Monmouth College for 2 years, then transferred to the University of Illinois (to be closer to Crissy) where he attended for 2 years and graduated. He has been working for the University of Illinois since graduating in 2001. |
how we met
Our friend, Maria, introduced us at a New Year's Eve party at Chuck's house in 1997. We hit it off, and have been together ever since.
it happened June 18, 2003
After coming home from the veterinary hospital, Crissy discovered Chuck had a bouquet of roses waiting on the kitchen table. He was in the middle of preparing a very nice salmon dinner. After dinner, he brought out her favorite dessert and also brought out a rose shaped jewelry box. Then he asked her to marry him.
